The main access route is the Chihuahua - Cd. Cuauhtémoc - Madera - La Norteña highway, with a mileage of 400 km and an estimated time of 5 hours.
It is recommended to arrive through Madera (100 Km) from Campo Verde and 1 hour and 30 minutes away. - Transportation facilities
From Chihuahua by air. There is no public transportation to reach the Protected Area. We suggest taking a bus to El Largo Maderal and then renting a vehicle.

There are some dirt roads and dirt tracks for pick-up trucks with signage to some of the communities and sites within the ANP.

Recommendations
- Summer and winter are recommended to visit the Protected Area. Avoid the dry season because of forest fires.
- Field clothing (hat, long sleeve shirt, boots or tennis shoes) and warm clothes in winter are recommended.
