Visitor regulations in the Protected Area
1. Local community or ejido agreements must be respected in the first instance. all tourist centers are administered by local communities, so it is important to know their customs and traditions and respect them.
2. The extraction of flora and fauna is not permitted.
3. Adequate solid waste management is required.
4. Hunting and fishing activities are not permitted.
5. The trails already marked out for tourism activities must be respected, as well as the specific sites for campfires, which will be marked in order to prevent forest fires.
6. Camping is not allowed on the banks of the Tzendales River, nor is hiking allowed in this part of the reserve.
7. In Miramar Lagoon, it is recommended to use environmentally friendly sunscreen to avoid water contamination.
8. No extraction of flora, fauna, or archeological material from the protected area is permitted.
