A partir de Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, tomar la carretera 80 y a 6 Km tomar la desviación hacia Ahuachapán, tomar ese camino y en 20 Km se ingresa a la Reserva.
A partir de la Ciudad de Colima, se toma la carretera Villa de Álvarez - Minatitlán, carretera estatal 03, en el Km 42 se toma la desviación hacia el Ejido El terrero, se continúa ese camino por 16 kilómetros y se llega al Ejido El Terrero. La Reserva se encuentra en el Km 20 de la carretera estatal número 3. - Medios de transporte

Admission fee
Protected Area entrance fee
$90 MXN Entrance prices per person, per day, as collection of rights.
Senior citizens, pensioned and retired persons, disabled persons, and minors under 12 years of age will be exempt from the payment of fees, whose status will be accredited once they enter the Protected Area, if applicable, with the corresponding valid credential. A 50% discount will be applied to students and teachers with a valid credential, which must be presented upon entering the Protected Area.

Visitor regulations in the Protected Area
1. Approach the ecotourism committees to book your visit.
2. Respect the recommendations of the local guides.
3. Do not extract, feed or disturb the flora and fauna species.
4. Respect archeological sites and elements of the tangible cultural heritage.
5. Do not collect or extract materials, plants or animals from the sites you visit.
6. Make campfires in assigned sites during the permitted seasons of the year.
7. When you make a campfire, be sure to put it out completely.
8. Do not carry disposable
9. Use the containers with separation of solid waste and garbage.
10. Take care of the facilities and areas of public use

12. Respect what is indicated on the signs
13. Respect other visitors by not making excessive noise.
14. Before your visit to the protected area, ask those in charge of the area about the appropriate clothing to wear.
