It is reached by the Ensenada-La Paz Transpeninsular Highway (Mexico 1), at kilometer 141 is the town of San Telmo in the Ejido Lic. Gustavo Días Ordaz, at the junction where the road to the National Astronomical Observatory begins, the reception of the National Park is located at kilometer 84 and the National Astronomical Observatory at kilometer 100.

The National Park can only be reached by private vehicle or with service providers that offer tours from the municipalities of Tijuana, Mexicali and Ensenada.
- Mobility within the protected area
The only paved road is the official access road that leads to the National Astronomical Observatory. There are also trails that allow visitors to walk to the various public areas and to the rest of the National Park.

$60.37 MXN Entrance prices per person, per day, as collection of rights.
Senior citizens, pensioned and retired persons, disabled persons, and minors under 12 years of age will be exempt from the payment of fees, whose status will be accredited once they enter the Protected Area, if applicable, with the corresponding valid credential. A 50% discount will be applied to students and teachers with a valid credential, which must be presented upon entering the Protected Area.

Visitor regulations in the Protected Area
1. All visitors are required to register by filling out the visitor registration form, and in the case of groups, the representative must provide the number of all accompanying persons, per vehicle, at the National Park's reception desk.
2. The opening hours of the National Park are from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
3. Do not cause noise that disturbs other visitors or wildlife. Be sure to moderate noise after 20:00 hrs.
4. Light campfires only in the designated places within the camping areas and take the necessary precautions. The campfire should have a moderate height of approximately one meter.
5. Extinguish the campfire completely before going to sleep to avoid a forest fire.
6. It is prohibited to bring firewood into the National Park. Only small pieces of dead wood found on the ground may be collected for campfires.
7. Do not throw garbage on the ground. It must be placed in the trash containers located in the National Park.
8. This is a natural sanctuary, so visitors are invited not to leave garbage, and if they do generate it, they should take it with them to avoid contaminating the park.
9. Do not bring weapons of any kind into the National Park.
10. It is forbidden to scratch, damage, collect or depredate vegetation, as well as damage, collect or depredate or feed wildlife.
