Federal Highway 120 San Juan del Río, Querétaro-Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, from the city of Querétaro to the first municipality that makes up the Protected Area, is 121.4 km and to the location of the reserve's management offices in the municipality of Jalpan de Serra is 184.3 km. Federal Highway 69 Río Verde-Jalpan de Serra can also be used to reach the municipality of Arroyo Seco, a distance of 108 km.
- Transportation facilities
It can be reached by public service from the city of Queretaro and Xilitla; and on the side of Rio Verde and Xilitla in the bus service. It can also be reached by cab service and through tour operators.

$60.37 MXN Entrance prices per person, per day, as collection of rights.
Senior citizens, pensioned and retired persons, disabled persons, and minors under 12 years of age will be exempt from the payment of fees, whose status will be accredited once they enter the Protected Area, if applicable, with the corresponding valid credential. A 50% discount will be applied to students and teachers with a valid credential, which must be presented upon entering the Protected Area.
