It can only be reached by sea. The ports of embark are San Blas and Boca de Camichin, located 70 Km and 30 Km from the island, respectively.

Signposted trails lead to different sites, where you can observe wildlife and landscapes. The island is of volcanic origin, so most of the trails are stony, so it is recommended to use appropriate footwear for this type of terrain (field boots or tennis shoes).

Cuota de entrada al ANP
$125 MXN por persona, por día, por concepto de cobro de derechos.
Quedarán exentas del pago de derechos las personas adultas mayores, pensionadas y jubiladas, personas con discapacidad y menores de 12 años, cuya calidad se acreditará una vez que se ingrese al ANP, en su caso, con la credencial vigente correspondiente. Se aplicará el 75% de descuento a las personas estudiantes y profesorado con credencial vigente, misma que deberá presentarse una vez que se ingrese al ANP. Se aplicará el 50% a visitantes nacionales, visitantes extranjeros residentes en el país que deberán acreditar su nacionalidad o residencia respectivamente con documento oficial vigente una vez que se ingrese al ANP.

Reglamento para el visitante en el ANP
1. Utilizar los servicios de prestadores autorizados por la CONANP.
2. Pagar los derechos de visita.
3. Realizar recorridos por la isla, esnorqueleo y buceo solo en compañía de un guía autorizado y en grupos no mayores de 10 personas.
4. No llevar mascotas a la isla.
5. No fumar durante los recorridos, ni hacer fogatas.
6. Utilizar las veredas establecidas.
7. Utilizar solo las áreas autorizadas para acampar.
8. Respetar a las demás personas presentes en la isla.
9. No molestar a la fauna.
10. No llevarse objetos de la isla, vivos o no vivos (rocas, conchas, caracoles, corales, estrellas de mar, etc.).
11. No volar drones.
