It can only be reached by sea. The ports of embark are San Blas and Boca de Camichin, located 70 Km and 30 Km from the island, respectively.

Signposted trails lead to different sites, where you can observe wildlife and landscapes. The island is of volcanic origin, so most of the trails are stony, so it is recommended to use appropriate footwear for this type of terrain (field boots or tennis shoes).

$60.37 MXN Entrance prices per person, per day, as collection of rights.
Senior citizens, pensioned and retired persons, disabled persons, and minors under 12 years of age will be exempt from the payment of fees, whose status will be accredited once they enter the Protected Area, if applicable, with the corresponding valid credential. A 50% discount will be applied to students and teachers with a valid credential, which must be presented upon entering the Protected Area.

Visitor regulations in the Protected Area
1. Use the services of CONANP-authorized service providers.
2. Pay visitation fees.
3. To take tours of the island, snorkeling and scuba diving only in the company of an authorized guide and in groups of no more than 10 people.
4. Do not bring pets to the island.
5. No smoking during the tours, nor campfires.
6. Use the established trails.
7. Use only authorized areas for camping.
8. Respect other people present on the island.
9. Do not disturb wildlife.
10. Do not take objects from the island, living or non-living (rocks, shells, snails, corals, starfish, etc.).
11. Do not fly drones.
