Most important locality
1. There are many locations along the coast of Baja California Sur (there are 134 islands).
2. Mazatlan, La Cruz, Celestino Gazca, Ceuta, El Conchal, El Dorado, Culiacan, Altata, Navolato, Dautillos, Yameto, La Reforma, Angostura, Costa Azul, Playa Colorada, Boca del Rio, Las Glorias, Cerro Cabezon, El Huitussi, El Tortugo, Lazaro Cardenas, Muellecito, Paredones, Topolobampo, Los Mochis, El Colorado, Jitzamuri. Distances depend on the island, but range from less than one to 40 Km.
3. Guaymas, Bahía de Kino, Punta Chueca, Desemboque de los Seri, Ejido R. Campodónico, Puerto Peñasco, Bahía de Lobos, Bahía del Tóbari, Bahía de Yavaros. The distances are variable, due to the diversity of islands and islets adjacent to the coast of Sonora. -

1. Via Baja California Sur
By boat the distances to Baja California Sur are very variable, covering only 134 islands.
2. Via Sinaloa
There are numerous options, since the NPA is a scattered territory throughout the Gulf of California due to its insular nature. Only the 502/900 islands off the coast of Sinaloa are distributed in front of the coast of more than 650 linear km in Sinaloa and with numerous access points. Plus the rest of the 900 islands that form the ANP and are distributed in the other states (Sonora, Baja California, Baja California Sur).

The access to the islands of the Gulf of California adjacent to the coast of Sonora, is made with previous notice to the Direction of the ANP and from diverse coastal localities of the Sonoran coast. - Transportation facilities

Every day of the year, 24 hrs.
Subject to weather conditions. Venados Island, in front of Mazatlan, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is recommended to limit the visit to a maximum of 4 hours. Reserve office from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission fee
Protected Area entrance fee
$215 MXN Entrance prices per person, per day, as collection of rights.
Senior citizens, pensioned and retired persons, disabled persons, and minors under 12 years of age will be exempt from the payment of fees, whose status will be accredited once they enter the Protected Area, if applicable, with the corresponding valid credential. A 50% discount will be applied to students and teachers with a valid credential, which must be presented upon entering the Protected Area.

Reglamento para el visitante en el ANP
Turismo de bajo impacto ambiental, y apego a las reglas del Programa de Manejo del ANP.
La Isla Venados, frente a Mazatlán, SInaloa, es un área natural protegida por lo que quienes la visitan deben cumplir con las siguientes medidas:
1. Contratar servicios de Prestadores de Servicios autorizados por la CONANP
2. El horario de visita a la Isla es de 9 de la mañana a 5 de la tarde.
3. El tiempo de estancia en la isla es hasta un máximo de 4 horas.
4. No deben llevar mascotas
5. No existen baños por lo que deben tomar sus previsiones antes de viajar a la isla y evitar el fecalismo al aire libre.
6. No existe ninguna instalación para venta de comida, para que tomen sus precauciones.
7. No deben usar altavoces ni generar ruidos intensos.
8. Las bandas y grupos de música no están autorizadas
9. No hacer fogatas ni campamentos.
10. Deben recoger la basura que generan para su disposición final en el puerto.
11. Deben realizar el pago de derechos por visitar un área natural protegida y exigir al Prestador de Servicios el brazalete que ampara dicho pago. Este pago se reintegra al ANP para sustentar acciones de manejo y conservación.
12. No se debe extraer ningún elemento del ANP, sean plantas, animales, piedras, conchas o cualquier objeto de origen terrestre o marino
13. No alimentar ni molestar a los animales que habitan en la isla.
