Highway 184 Muna - Carrillo Puerto, arriving at the turnoff to the town of Santa Gertrudis towards Candelaria, passes through the towns of San Felipe I, Reforma, Candelaria, Othón P. Blanco, Carolina, Sabana San Francisco and arrives at the APFF Bala'an K'aax. The access is through dirt roads.
