There are the following alternatives: Take Federal Highway 1 known as Transpeninsular, or State Highway 19, which goes from La Paz to Los Cabos.
By the first one, you arrive at the town called Santiago at 128 Km, continue 22 Km more by dirt road, until arriving at San Dionisio, from here you continue on foot or by beast for 28 Km more to arrive at the camping area. Finally, following the same road to Santiago, continue along the trail that leads to Rancho Santa Amalia, 16 km from Santiago; at this point the road ends and a trail continues on foot or by beast through La Zorra Canyon for approximately 32 km that leads to the camping area. Take state highway 19 that passes through the town of Todos Santos and at kilometer 85 there is a dirt road that leads 18 kilometers to El Portón. - Transportation facilities

Any person visiting the Reserve and entering the Core Zone can only do so through the following access routes: La Burrera. Access at Km. 54.5 on the short road from Todos Santos to Cabo San Lucas; La Victoria. Access to San Antonio de la Sierra at Km. 147+600 Transpeninsular Highway No. 1 (long way) section La Paz to Cabo San Lucas; La Zorra Canyon. Access for Santiago, Mpio. of Los Cabos Km. 84+500 highway Transpeninsular No. 1 (long way) section Cabo San Lucas to La Paz; San Dionisio. Access by Santiago, Municipality of Los Cabos Km. 84+500 highway Transpeninsular No. 1 (long way) section Cabo San Lucas to La Paz; San Pedro del Frijolar. Access at Km. 40 on the short road from La Paz to Cabo San Lucas; and Los Taraises or San Simón. Access at Km. 168 of Transpeninsular Highway No. 1, Cabo San Lucas to La Paz section. It is worth mentioning that not all the trails are well marked and the most used are the Burrera and San Dionisio trails.

$60.37 MXN Entrance prices per person, per day, as collection of rights.
Senior citizens, pensioned and retired persons, disabled persons, and minors under 12 years of age will be exempt from the payment of fees, whose status will be accredited once they enter the Protected Area, if applicable, with the corresponding valid credential. A 50% discount will be applied to students and teachers with a valid credential, which must be presented upon entering the Protected Area.

Visitor regulations in the Protected Area
Visitors and users who visit sites of tourist interest must comply with the following provisions:
1. Not to travel outside the routes and interpretive trails established by the Directorate.
2. Not to throw, deposit or leave any type of garbage. not to excavate or level the land where they camp. 3.
3. Not to erect permanent camping facilities.
4. Not to spend the night outside the areas designated for such purpose.
5. Not to alter the natural conditions of the site where camping has taken place.
6. Not to make fire outside the designated sites and under the conditions indicated for such purpose.
7. Not to make unnecessary noise.
8. Not to cut or mutilate plants.
9. Do not disturb animals.
10. Not to introduce paints of any kind, except with justification and under control.
11. Not to enter bodies of water.
12. Not to leave combustible materials that imply fire risks in the visited area.
13. Do not take fossils or archeological artifacts.
14. Not to alter sites of historical, cultural or natural value.
15. Not to introduce firearms, axes and machetes.
16. Not to introduce alcoholic beverages.
17. Not to defecate in the open air. if there are no facilities, they shall use the cat hole technique.
18. Not to contaminate bodies of water with any type of organic or inorganic waste.
19. Not to leave campfires burning. any campfire must be completely extinguished at the end of its use, guaranteeing its total extinction.
20. Not to camp at distances less than 60 meters from any body of water. and
21. Not to introduce exotic species of any kind.
